Syagrus romanzoffiana (Queen Palm) is a fast-growing, elegant palm that brings a graceful tropical feel to any landscape. Its tall, smooth grey trunk supports a full canopy of long, feather-like fronds that arch beautifully, making it an excellent choice for avenues, lawns, pool areas, and large gardens. Well suited to Zambia's climate, this hardy palm establishes quickly and provides year-round beauty with minimal care.

Growing conditions: Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Water regularly while the palm is becoming established, then reduce watering as it matures. Although drought tolerant once established, regular watering and occasional feeding with a balanced palm fertiliser will encourage faster growth and healthier foliage. Remove old fronds only after they have turned brown to keep the palm looking neat.
