A Popular, large, lemon with a high juice content, low seed count, less acidic than Eureka, highly valued for its thick, protective skin which make it excellent for long-distance transport and storage. a Spanish variety that accounts for around 60% of Spain’s annual lemon crop. It is also grown in Algeria and Morocco. Recommended tree spacing for Eureka in Zambia is 5m apart in rows and 6m between rows (320 plants per hectare).

Lemon 'Verna'
Lemon 'Verna' is a productive Spanish lemon variety known for its large, juicy fruits with a bright yellow rind and excellent flavour. It is valued for its extended harvesting season and heavy yields, often producing fruit when other lemon varieties are out of season. The tree is vigorous, evergreen, and well suited to home gardens and orchards in warm climates. Rich in vitamin C, Verna lemons are ideal for fresh juice, cooking, baking, and preserving.
