We have a wide range of fruiting plants available.  From fruit trees and vines to shrubs and bushes.
Some of these are perfectly sized for growing in containers, small city gardens or home orchards.
We also stock some incredible indigenous edible plants for your backyard.

Annona squamosa (Sweet-sop or Sugar apple)

Mango ‘Tommy Atkins’

Early to mid-season, large fruit (450 – 700 g) , attractive skin colour, fibreless, exceptional shelf life, very tolerant of handling and transportation with little or no bruising, medium-sized tree, produces consistently heavy and good crops, tolerant to bacterial black spot
Water trees deeply.  Allow the soil to dry to a depth of several inches before watering again. Recommended tree spacing for Tommy Atkins in Zambia is 7×4 m (350 plants per hectare). Foliar potassium nitrate application sprays should be applied at 4% once during full bloom.

Dwarf Papaya Growing and Care

Well-cared-for trees may begin to produce flowers 4 months after planting out in the field, and fruit 7 to 11 months after planting.
Dwarf varieties bear 20 -40 fruits per tree, weighing 40-75 kg in one fruiting season.
The economic life a dwarf papaya tree is only 4 to 5 years after which it needs to be replaced.
Water: Keep the soil slightly moist but not too wet. Water Dwarf Papaya plants deeply when top 2 inches of soil dries out.  It will need less water during the cool months.  A thick mulch layer will help to maintain optimal soil moisture, conserve water, regulate the temperature of the soil, keep plant roots cool, enrich your soil fertility and microbial life, suppress weeds, prevent erosion.
Fertilizer:  Apply 100 g of a balanced, all-purpose fertilizer every 4 weeks during the warm months and every 8 weeks during the cool months.
Pest control:  Spray with a combination for Mancozeb and Metalaxyl in the first week of September, spray again 10 days layer.  After that spray every 4 weeks until April.  Spray Copper hydroxide every 4 weeks from May to August.

Passiflora edulis (Pruple Granadilla)

Purple skin, delicious, juicy, very aromatic fruit, seeded pulp-filled centre, striking flowers, vines are fast growing and vigorous, need a sturdy trellis structure, richer aroma and flavour than the yellow variety
Full sun. Medium water needs. Deep, loose soil that contains plenty of organic material. Apply a generous layer of mulch. Add compost or manure every year.
